Creating a judgement free safe space for volunteers is important to ensure everyone feels welcomed and included and can benefit your entire organisation, with staff and volunteers feeling happier and being more productive.
This can be particularly important for volunteers who are new to Australia and the Australian culture, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals going through life transitions.

With preparation, planning and consideration to yourself and yur volunteer, these conversations can be successful and achieve the desired outcomes.
