Touchbase provides information, support and services for LGBTI Australians on substance use, mental health and sexual health. The Touchbase website also provides a toolkit for safe partying and shares real stories from members of the LGBTI community.

QLife 

Australia-wide anonymous, LGBTI peer support and referral for people wanting to talk about a range of issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships. QLife services are free and include both phone and webchat support, for LGBTI individuals, their friends and families, and health professionals.

Founded in 2010, is the national peak body for LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, intersex, queer and other sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people.

MindOut

MindOut develops and delivers national suicide prevention initiatives for the mental health and suicide prevention sectors to help them meet the needs of LGBTIQ+ populations. In doing so, the program aims to improve the mental health outcomes and reduce suicide and suicidal behaviour amongst LGBTIQ+ people and communities.

ACON

Trans Support

The Gender Centre 

The Gender Centre is committed to developing and providing services and activities, which enhance the ability of transgender, gender diverse and gender exploring people make informed choices.  The Centre is recognised as a centre of excellence in NSW through an ASES Award Accreditation, (Australian Service Excellence Standards) and nationally in the delivery of front line specialist multi-purpose services aimed at supporting the transgender, gender diverse and gender questioning community across all stages of transition (pre- mid and post transition). 


Youth Empowerment

Minus 18 

Minus 18 works to build social inclusion, and advocate for an Australia where all young people are safe, empowered, and surrounded by people that support them. 

Through a preventative model of mental health support, they tackle social isolation by creating fun-filled spaces where LGBTQIA+ young people belong and are celebrated. Being visible, making friends and feeling supported are what our events are about.

Orygen is a youth mental health support group devoted specifically to youth mental health, they have produced a Gender Diversity & Language Fact Sheet for professionals but the information contained is helpful for general public.
