These units provides an overview of volunteer management within Australia. It is designed to enhance your understanding and skills across several key areas. Starting with the basics of Australia's volunteer landscape, you'll explore the roles volunteers play, demographic trends affecting volunteering, and the challenges faced by different types of volunteers.
Modules on effective volunteer workforce inclusion and strategic program management will equip you with the strategies needed for the successful integration and management of volunteers within your organisation. You'll learn about volunteer planning, inclusion strategies, and how to create engaging and inclusive job designs.
Other modules will explore how to develop your volunteers through targeted training programs, retain volunteers with effective strategies, and continuously improve your management practices. Plus, you'll gain insights into conducting training needs analysis, applying retention strategies, and managing diverse volunteer groups. By the end of this unit, you will have the skills necessary to enhance volunteer involvement, develop and train your volunteer workforce, and lead with strategic foresight, all aimed at boosting organisational performance and volunteer satisfaction.
