The NSW State of Volunteering Report revealed and quantified the significant economic, social and cultural contribution volunteering makes to NSW.
This in-depth analysis was undertaken by the Institute of Project Management which surveyed more than 1,100 volunteers and received more than 1,000 responses from volunteer involving organisations. In showcasing the characteristics of these communities and the volunteering landscape at large, the report observes the cost-benefit of the nearly 4.9 million residents across NSW who generously gave more than 1.5 billion dollars.
Key findings topics include:
- Youth volunteering
- Priority areas of support VIOs identified
- Volunteer recruitment methods effectiveness
- Volunteer motivation and retention.
In this webinar we will unpack how these findings have already made a difference to volunteer involving organisations and advocacy groups, and what you can do to leverage the results.
