This course provides Volunteer Involving Organisations with the knowledge and skills to help them become an inclusive and diverse volunteering workplace.


This course has been developed by VolunteeringACT, The Centre for Volunteering and Volunteering Tasmania, the peak bodies for volunteering in these jurisdictions and forms part of the Inclusive Volunteering Pathways to Employment program.


Upon completion of the course, learners will have a greater understanding of:

  • What inclusion and diversity in the workplace is
  • How to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture
  • The barriers to inclusion and how to address them
  • Where to locate additional tools and resources to help build an inclusive and diverse organisation
  • What the Inclusive Volunteering Pathways to Employment program is and how to engage with it
