You'll also delve into volunteer recruitment, learning how to structure and manage volunteer roles effectively, which includes crafting roles, understanding the rights and responsibilities of volunteers, and adhering to national standards.
The unit enhances your skills in attracting volunteers by learning how to develop appealing marketing strategies and engaging community networks to boost recruitment. You’ll be guided through the essential practices of selecting volunteers, including screening, interviewing, and managing risks to ensure a safe and efficient volunteer program.
Finally, you'll gain an understanding of developing and implementing a volunteer induction program, ensuring a smooth and welcoming integration of volunteers into your organisation.
